Canary Capital’s TRUMP Coin ETF Added to DTCC Clearing List Amid Regulatory Hurdles

Canary Capital's spot TRUMP Coin ETF has been listed on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation's National Securities Clearing Corporation list, marking a critical step toward potential approval. The ETF, tickered TRPC, now awaits only the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's green light before trading can commence in U.S. markets.

The TRUMP token, however, remains 90% below its all-time high despite a brief price rally earlier in the day. Market participants are closely watching whether ETF speculation could reignite momentum for the politically themed cryptocurrency.

This development follows a broader trend of altcoin-linked ETFs appearing on DTCC's list, including products tied to Solana, XRP, and Polkadot. Progress on these filings has slowed due to the ongoing U.S. government shutdown, leaving the industry in a holding pattern.
